11 students officers had the opportunity to discover our expertise

As part of the Space option of the Master’s degree program at the Air and Space School, 11 student officers had the opportunity to discover the expertise of the CSUM up close.

🛰 This visit allowed the students to explore the CSUM’s cutting-edge facilities, dedicated to the design, assembly and testing of nanosatellites. A highlight of the day was the demonstration of space operations, where they were able to follow a passage of the ROBUSTA-1E ENSO satellite, a nanosatellite resulting from a collaboration with Expleo Group, above the ground station. This immersion helped to strengthen their understanding of the technical and operational challenges of the space domain.

The exploration continued with a presentation of the Muskrat system, a tool developed by the start-up Groundspace, which specializes in monitoring the spectrum used by space systems in Earth orbit.

👉 This visit highlights the importance of space training within the curriculum, which prepares future officers to meet the challenges of tomorrow in a rapidly expanding sector. The integration of space skills is essential to anticipate the technological and operational challenges that shape the future of space defense.
