Visit by BIA students from UM

A look back at the visit by BIA (Brevet d’Initiation Aéronautique) students from the University of Montpellier ✈️

The #CSUM and the Van Allen Foundation – FVA were delighted to welcome the BIA students for an immersive experience at the heart of a mini space agency. They had the opportunity to tour our facilities, talk with our #engineers, and attend a presentation on careers and challenges in the #space sector.

A big thank you to the students for their insightful questions and the enriching discussions. Their curiosity and enthusiasm are always a source of motivation for our teams.

The BIA is a free program run by IRES (Institute for Research in Science Education), which allows young people to discover the world of aeronautics. It covers various topics such as the history of aviation, meteorology, the principles of flight, and more.
