A look back at our space conference!
We brought together more than 200 students from the University of Montpellier and middle school students from the Montpellier Academy for the event “#space, environmental opportunities and challenges”! On stage, Célia Pelluet gave a humorous tribute to science and women in the space industry, followed by a round table discussion between experts from the French space sector: Xavier Albert-Lebrun and Cédric Biegel from Airbus Defense and Space, Latifa Benameur from Groundspace, Nicolas Dolin from Comat, and Muriel Bernard from CSUM. The event was moderated by Prof. Laurent Dusseau, director of CSUM and the Van Allen Foundation (FVA), and introduced by Jean-Claude Gayssot, president of the FVA and former minister alongside Philippe Combette. Thank you to everyone!
This was a golden opportunity for Montpellier students to discover and meet our partners: 3D PLUS, ActInSpace, Airbus Defence and Space, ACTIA Aerospace, Comat, CNES, Groundspace, and SYMETRIE.
An initiative led by #FVA as part of the COMETES project – Skills and Careers for Space
